Celine Vachon, Ph.D., chair, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Celine Vachon, Ph.D. (HSR ’99), chair, Division of Epidemiology, Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a 2022 Mayo Clinic and Karolinska Institutet Collaborative Cancer Research Program for the project “Artificial Intelligence Image-Based Model Development and Validation for Long-Term Breast Cancer Risk Assessment in Swedish and U.S. Screening Setting.” Her partner is Mikael Eriksson, post-doctoral researcher in epidemiology, Karolinska Institutet. Dr. Vachon is a professor of epidemiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
