Charles Rosen, M.D., is director of William J. von Liebig Center for Transplantation and Clinical Regeneration at Mayo Clinic
Charles Rosen, M.D. (MED ’84, S ’89, TRANS ’91), has been appointed as the director of the William J. von Liebig Center for Transplantation and Clinical Regeneration at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. Dr. Rosen has performed more than 1,000 liver transplant operations. He has served as chair of the Division of Transplantation Surgery since 2009 and also served as surgical director of liver transplantation from 1998 to 2008. He also is a professor of surgery. Dr. Rosen completed a fellowship in transplantation surgery, a residency in general surgery and medical school at Mayo Clinic.
