Christi Patten, Ph.D., named fellow, Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco

Christi Patten, Ph.D. (CIM ’98), Department of Psychiatry and Psychology, Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was named one of 12 new fellows for 2019 by the Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco, a world leader in developing and disseminating advances in and knowledge about tobacco use and nicotine dependence.

Fellowship is one of the society’s highest honors, a distinction reserved for those of meritorious accomplishment who have made outstanding contributions to the field. Dr. Patten’s fellowship will be formally acknowledged at the society’s annual meeting in San Francisco in February.

Dr. Patten is a professor of psychology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
