Christina Pabelick, M.D., awarded funding for Discovery Science Award from Mayo Clinic Center for Biomedical Discovery
Christina Pabelick, M.D. (ANES ’03), Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology, Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was awarded funding for the second year of a Discovery Science Award from the Mayo Clinic Center for Biomedical Discovery. The project is “Understanding Hydrogen Sulfide Signaling in Neonatal Airway Disease.” Discovery Science Awards focus on multidisciplinary teams with a hypothesis-driven project studying biochemical, molecular or cellular mechanisms.
Co-investigators are David Linden, Ph.D. (PHYS ’04), Department of Physiology and Biomedical Engineering; and Y.S. Prakash, M.D., Ph.D. (PHYS ’94, ANES ’96, I ’03, ANES ’06), Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic and chair, Department of Physiology and Biomedical Engineering.
Dr. Pabelick is a professor of anesthesiology and physiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
