Christopher DeSimone, M.D., Ph.D., Division of Heart Rhythm Services, Mayo Clinic in Rochester

Christopher DeSimone, M.D., Ph.D. (I ’13, CV ’17, CVEP ’19), Division of Heart Rhythm Services at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a Mayo Clinic President’s Discovery Translation Program award. The program is an enterprisewide initiative that provides targeted resources at critical stages of product or service development and supports projects that hold promise for transformative advancement in quality, safety and efficacy of clinical care. Dr. DeSimone is principal investigator of “Novel Mapping and Electroporation Ablation System to Identify Substrate for Maintenance of Ventricular Fibrillation and Sudden Cardiac Death.” Dr. DeSimone is an associate professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
