Christopher Russi, D.O., receives Mayo Clinic Noaber Foundation grant

Christopher Russi, D.O. (CTSC ’13), chair, Division of Community Emergency Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a Noaber Foundation grant from the Mayo Clinic Center for Innovation and Center for Connected Care.

The award is given to Mayo Clinic physicians, researchers and Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science faculty for research in connected care delivery models. Dr. Russi leads a team that will study the impact of video consultations in emergency medicine and pediatric critical care during 911 emergency responses, interfacility transports and in the northwest Wisconsin community paramedic program. The project is entitled “Prehospital Tele-Emergency Care.”

Dr. Russi is an assistant professor of emergency medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
