Christy Hunt, D.O.

Christy Hunt, D.O. (PMR ’18, PAIN ’19), has been appointed the new Florida associate director of Mayo Clinic Military Medicine (MCMM). Dr. Hunt has been a dedicated contributor to MCMM, serving on the Executive Committee and leading educational efforts across campuses, including the Special Operations Tactical Medicine (SOTM) and Human Performance and musculoskeletal courses. Her clinical expertise in musculoskeletal and pain medicine and passion for serving military-connected patients and families make her exceptionally well-suited for this leadership role. She succeeds Thomas Flipse, M.D. (I ’88, IDGM ’89), who has rotated out of the role.
