Cody Wyles, M.D., receives Patrick J. Kelly Award for Excellence in Research by an Orthopedic Resident

Cody Wyles, M.D. (CTSA ’16, MED ’16), Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received the Patrick J. Kelly Award for Excellence in Research by an Orthopedic Resident from the Department of Orthopedic Surgery on its biennial Patrick J. Kelly, M.D., Research Day in October. The event honors Dr. Kelly, who started Mayo Clinic’s Histomorphometry Laboratory and Mayo’s Bone Biology Research Program in 1957.

Dr. Wyles’ project is entitled “Osteonecrosis Risk Imparted by PPARγ Genetic Variance and Pharmacologic Modulation.”
