Daniel Ma, M.D., receives Steve A. Leibel Memorial Award for abstract at ASTRO annual meeting
Daniel Ma, M.D. (RADO ’11, CTSA ’15), Department of Radiation Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received the Steve A. Leibel Memorial Award for his abstract at the ASTRO (American Society for Radiation Oncology) annual meeting, “MC1675, a Phase III Evaluation of De-Escalated Adjuvant Radiation Therapy (DART) vs. Standard Adjuvant Treatment for Human Papillomavirus Associated Oropharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma.”
The Leibel Memorial Award was created by ASTRO and the American Board of Radiology (ABR) Foundation to recognize ABR-board certified principal investigators or a board-eligible individual who has completed training in radiation oncology or medial physics, no more than 10 years prior.
Dr. Ma is an associate professor of radiation oncology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
