David O. Warner, M.D. (ANES ’87), Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received the Excellence in Research Award from the American Society of Anesthesiologists for his extensive research efforts to help improve patient care before, during and after surgery. The award recognizes outstanding achievement in research that has or is likely to have an important impact on the practice of anesthesiology. Dr. Warner is a professor of anesthesiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
