Deirdre Pachman, M.D., has manuscript recognized as most notable by Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology
Deirdre Pachman, M.D. (I ’12, HEMO ’16, PLM ’16), Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, had a manuscript recognized as most notable of 2016-2017 by the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology. Her manuscript was “Comparison of Oxaliplatin and Paclitaxel-Induced Neuropathy (Alliance A151505),” and it was published in Support Care Cancer in December 2016.
Selection of the most significant manuscripts is based on review by the alliance’s scientific leadership and a separate review panel. Each nominated manuscript must satisfy at least one of the following criteria: potential to change the standard of care; potential to change the way clinical trials are designed and/or executed; and potential to change understanding of cancer biology.
Dr. Pachman is an assistant professor of medicine and oncology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
