Denise Wedel, M.D., receives Mayo Clinic Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine’s 2019 Distinguished Clinician Award & retires

Denise Wedel, M.D. (ANES ’81), Division of Multispecialty Anesthesia, Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received the department’s 2019 Distinguished Clinician Award.

Dr. Wedel retired in July after 38 years of service.

She is a professor of anesthesiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
