Devon Rubin, M.D.

Devon Rubin, M.D. (I1 ’94, N ’97, NEMG ’98), has been named the Mayo Clinic School of Continuous Professional Development Associate Dean – Florida. Dr. Rubin succeeds William Palmer, M.D. (I ’13, GI ’15, HEPT ’16), in this role, bringing with him extensive experience in medical education, leadership, and innovation in continuous professional development (CPD). Dr. Rubin has been a consultant in the Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, since 2007 and currently serves as executive vice chair of the Department of Neurology at Mayo Clinic in Florida, director of the Mayo Clinic Florida EMG Laboratory, and chair of the Department of Neurology Education Committee. Additionally, Dr. Rubin is a professor of neurology at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. In his new role as associate dean, Dr. Rubin will work closely with faculty, course directors, and MCSCPD leadership to advance Mayo Clinic’s CPD programs, ensuring that Florida continues to be a leader in high-quality, innovative, and effective education for healthcare professionals.
