Douglas Simonetto, M.D. (I1 ’10, I ’12, GI ’15, HEPT ’16, CTSA ’24), project was selected for advancement, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Douglas Simonetto, M.D. (I1 ’10, I ’12, GI ’15, HEPT ’16, CTSA ’24), Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, has a project selected for advancement in the Mayo Clinic Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery. His project is “Prediction of Hospital Readmission Risk in Cirrhosis.” The Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery will provide project support and dedicated time from center staff, including scientists, analysts, project managers and clinical research coordinators. Most projects will be complete in 12 months. Dr. Simonetto is an associate professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
