Dr. Miguel Teixeira, appointed director, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Dr. Miguel Teixeira has been appointed Respiratory Therapy Medical Director. Dr. Teixeira joined the Mayo consulting staff as Mayo Clinic Scholar in 2020 after completing anesthesiology (2020) and internal medicine (2017) residencies at Mayo. He also completed a fellowship in Anesthesia Critical Care Medicine at Stanford University Hospital. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Utah School of Medicine and is a diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology with Critical Care Medicine Certification, the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Echocardiography. He also currently serves as committee member on the Department of Anesthesiology Residency Recruitment, Education, and Evaluation Committees.
