Elie Berbari, M.D.

Elie Berbari, M.D. (INFD ’98), is the new chair of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

Dr. Berbari joined the Mayo Clinic staff in 2000 and is a professor of medicine.

He succeeds Abinash Virk, M.D. (INFD ’97), who served in the role of interim division chair for the past year, and Larry Baddour, M.D. (INFD ’02), who served in the role of division chair from 2009 to 2016.
