Elizabeth Stewart, M.D., receives Mayo Clinic Center for Biomedical Discovery-Department of OB/GYN Team Science award

cbd-ob/gynThe Mayo Clinic Center for Biomedical Discovery (CBD) and Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology announced the recipient of the 2018 CBD-OB/GYN Team Science Pilot Award, Elizabeth (Ebbie) Stewart, M.D. (OBG ’07), Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

Dr. Stewart’s project is “Targeting Genotype-Dependent Mechanobiologic Feedback for Uterine Fibroids.” Her co-principal investigator is Daniel Tschumperlin, Ph.D. (PHYS ’16), Department of Physiology and Biomedical Engineering.

The purpose of the award is to enhance team science by developing clinical and basic science collaborations in translational projects that have the potential to impact clinical obstetrics and gynecology.
