Elizabeth Vogel, M.D., Ph.D., receives FAER Mentored Research Training Grant
Elizabeth Vogel, M.D., Ph.D. (I1 ’12, ANES ’15, BME ’15, ANES ’18), Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology, received a FAER (Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research) Mentored Research Training Grant for her project “CPAP, Piezo Channels, and Neonatal Airway Disease.” This work will focus on understanding the impact of CPAP-induced stretch on novel mechano-sensitive Piezo channels in developing airways.
Dr. Vogel is an assistant professor of anesthesiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
