Emily Sharpe, M.D. (ANES ’14), selected to be the 2025 Ostheimer Lecturer, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Emily Sharpe, M.D. (ANES ’14), Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was selected by the board of directors of the Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology (SOAP) to be the 2025 Ostheimer Lecturer. The purpose of the Gerard W. Ostheimer Lecture is to evaluate and highlight literature contributions pertinent to the research and clinical care of the obstetric anesthesia patient published in the preceding calendar year. Dr. Sharpe is an associate professor of anesthesiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
