Eric Edell, M.D., receives 2020 Gustav Killian Centenary Medal from World Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology

Eric Edell, M.D. (THD ’88), Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was awarded the 2020 Gustav Killian Centenary Medal by the World Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology, the group’s highest honor.

The award recognizes accomplished senior bronchologists whose career achievements and clinical practices have made a significant impact on the art and science of bronchology.

Dr. Edell is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science and immediate past president of the Mayo Clinic Alumni Association.
