Fergus Couch, Ph.D., receives 2021 Distinguished Mayo Clinic Investigator Award

Fergus Couch, Ph.D. (PATH ’97), chair, Division of Experimental Medicine and Pathology in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a 2021 Distinguished Mayo Clinic Investigator Award. Dr. Couch is an international leader in breast cancer genetics and cancer epidemiology research whose work has led to improvements in clinical care for cancer patients worldwide. He is the Zbigniew and Anna M. Scheller Professor in Medical Research in Honor of Dr. Thomas J. McDonald.
