Francisco Lopez-Jimenez, M.D.

Francisco Lopez-Jimenez, M.D. (CV ’01), has received a named professorship from Mayo Clinic’s Named Professorship Committee. He is now the Roderick H. Cushman Professor of Cardiovascular Sciences. Dr. Lopez-Jimenez is also the chair of the Division of Preventive Cardiology at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and a professor of medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Named professorships are the highest academic distinction for staff members at Mayo Clinic and represent the pinnacle of medical achievement and excellence for Mayo Clinic physicians and scientists.
