Francisco Lopez-Jimenez, M.D., is co-chair, Advanced Healthcare & Analytics Work Group, American College of Cardiology

Francisco Lopez-Jimenez, M.D. (CV ’01), chair, Division of Preventive Cardiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was selected to be co-chair of the Advanced Healthcare and Analytics Work Group for the American College of Cardiology (ACC), which is part of the Section for Digital Health.

This group promotes the field of artificial intelligence in cardiology for the ACC, including educational activities, networking and promoting good practices in the conduction of research in artificial intelligence in cardiology. Dr. Lopez-Jimenez will champion the use of analytics and artificial intelligence to optimize the cardiovascular care journey for better cardiac health throughout the world.

Dr. Lopez-Jimenez is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
