Frank Sinicrope, M.D., receives National Cancer Institute R01 grant to study colon cancer
Frank Sinicrope, M.D. (GI ’02), Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was awarded a five-year Research Project Grant (R01) from the National Cancer Institute.
His project is “Integration of Genomic and Clinical Data to Enhance Subtyping of Colon Cancer.” The project will identify determinants of recurrence at the molecular pathway level or in the tumor microenvironment that will help prioritize targets for therapeutic intervention.
Dr. Sinicrope also is a professor of medicine and oncology.
