George Pujalte, M.D., associate professor, Mayo Clinic Florida

George Pujalte, M.D., (FM ’15), Department of Family Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Florida, provided medical coverage for the USA taekwondo national team at the 2022 World Taekwondo Grand Prix in Paris, France. For the first time, USA Taekwondo had three athletes in the Olympic Top 6 rankings. For the first time in almost a decade, a male taekwondo athlete received a Grand Prix medal. Dr. Pujalte is an associate professor of family medicine and an assistant professor of orthopedics in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
