George Pujalte, M.D. (FM ’03), chosen lead author, Mayo Clinic Florida

George Pujalte, M.D. (FM ’03), Department of Family Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Florida, was chosen as lead author of the position statement of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine on athletes with ADHD. The AMSSM is the largest multidisciplinary organization of sports medicine physicians in the U.S., and is dedicated to education, research, advocacy and the care of athletes of all ages. The writing teams of AMSSM position statements, as well as their lead authors, are chosen through a national call and stringent review of authors’ backgrounds and levels of experience. Dr. Pujalte is an associate professor of family medicine and an assistant professor of orthopedics in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
