George Pujalte, M.D., provided medical coverage for USA Taekwondo team in first-ever Junior Pan American Games in Colombia

George Pujalte, M.D. (FM ’15), Department of Family Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Florida, provided medical coverage for the USA Taekwondo team as it competed in the first-ever Junior Pan American Games in Cali, Colombia. The USA Taekwondo team won three gold medals and two bronze medals at this event. Dr. Pujalte also involved former Mayo Clinic Family Medicine resident in this elite-level sporting event, Andre Abadin, D.O. (FM ’21), who is completing a sports medicine fellowship training at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.

Dr. Pujalte is an associate professor of family medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
