Gokhan Anil, M.D., is regional chair of clinical practice, Southwest Minnesota region, Mayo Clinic Health System

Gokhan Anil, M.D. (OBG ’17), an obstetrician-gynecologist at Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare in La Crosse, Wisconsin, was named regional chair of clinical practice for the Southwest Minnesota region. Dr. Anil will oversee all aspects of the practice in Southwest Minnesota and will lead integration and practice transformation efforts in alignment with Midwest and institutional strategies.

He is medical director for the surgical specialties in Southwest Wisconsin, and he chairs the Surgical and Procedural Committee and Department of Surgery and is the Southwest Wisconsin physician leader for Patient Experience.

Dr. Anil is an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
