Gurpreet Sandhu, M.D., Ph.D., is vice chair for International, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Mayo Clinic

Gurpreet Sandhu, M.D., Ph.D. (MBO ’92, BIOC ’94, CV ’04, CVIC ’04), chair, Division of Interventional Cardiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, is vice chair for International for the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine — a new position created to advance Mayo Clinic’s international activities.

Dr. Sandhu will build a team of regional ambassadors that to date includes Yong-Mei Cha, M.D. (CV ’01, CVEP ’02; Division of Heart Rhythm Services), for China; and Joseph Maalouf, M.D. (CV ’92; Division of Cardiovascular Ultrasound), for the Middle East.
