Halena Gazelka, M.D., chosen as representative on Minnesota Department of Human Services Opiate Epidemic Response Advisory Council

Halena Gazelka, M.D. (ANES ’10, PAIN ’11, PLM ’15), Division of Pain Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was chosen as a Minnesota Medical Association representative on the Minnesota Department of Human Services Opiate Epidemic Response Advisory Council.

The council was established to develop and implement a comprehensive and effective statewide effort to address the opioid addiction and overdose epidemic in the state.

Dr. Gazelka is an associate professor of anesthesiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
