Halena Gazelka, M.D., is chair, Medication Diversion Prevention Subcommittee at Mayo Clinic

Halena Gazelka, M.D. (ANES ’10, PAIN ’11, PLM ’15), was named chair of the Medication Diversion Prevention Subcommittee at Mayo Clinic. The Medication Diversion Prevention Subcommittee leads, directs and oversees medication diversion prevention activities across Mayo Clinic.  Dr. Gazelka succeeds Keith Berge, M.D. (MED ’84, ENT ’85, ANES ’87, CCM ’88), who was the subcommittee’s first chair almost nine years ago.

Dr. Gazelka is an associate professor of anesthesiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
