Harmeet Malhi, M.B.B.S. (I ’04, CI ’06, GI ’07, HEPT ’08), received funding and support in the Mayo Clinic Office of Translation to Practice Innovation Accelerator Award program

Harmeet Malhi, M.B.B.S. (I ’04, CI ’06, GI ’07, HEPT ’08), Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received additional funding and continued support in the Mayo Clinic Office of Translation to Practice Innovation Accelerator Award program for the project “Epigenetic Inhibitors for the Treatment of Alcoholic Hepatitis.” Innovation Accelerator Awards support projects that aim to develop new technologies with commercialization potential, such as medical devices, diagnostics, therapeutics, small-molecule drug discovery, healthcare IT and other human health innovations, including practice initiatives. Dr. Malhi is a professor of medicine and physiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
