Hartzell Schaff, M.D. (TS ’80), Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a Mayo Clinic Office of Translation to Practice Innovation Accelerator Award for the project “Mechanical Percutaneous Septal Myectomy Device.” Dr. Schaff is Stuart W. Harrington Professor of Surgery and a professor of surgery in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
