Henry Schultz, M.D., to receive 2021 John C. Gienapp Award from ACGME
Henry Schultz, M.D. (I ’78, CIM ’79), Division of Community Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, will received the 2021 John C. Gienapp Award from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
The award honors those who have dedicated themselves to graduate medical education and made outstanding contributions to the enhancement of residency education and ACGME accreditation activities. The ACGME has presented this prestigious award to only seven individuals since establishing the award in 2009. Receipt of the award recognizes individuals for sustained, extraordinary contributions to the national and international advancement of graduate medical education over a lifetime of service. Mayo Clinic, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, and Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education take great pride in this recognition of Dr. Schultz.
