Iftikhar Kullo, M.D., invited to serve on National Advisory Council for Human Genome Research

Iftikhar Kullo, M.D. (I ’94, CV ’99), Division of Preventive Cardiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was invited to serve on the National Advisory Council for Human Genome Research of the National Human Genome Research Institute — part of the National Institutes of Health. The council advises the Department of Health and Human Services, National Human Genome Research Institute, and National Institutes of Health on genetics, genomic research, training and programs related to the human genome initiative. Dr. Kullo is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
