John Kalantari, Ph.D., joins Division of Surgery Research, Mayo Clinic in Rochester

John Kalantari, Ph.D. (S ’20), has joined the Division of Surgery Research at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He has a joint appointment in the Department of Health Sciences Research.

Dr. Kalantari is a scientist in the Mayo Clinic Microbiome Program and machine-learning/artificial intelligence scientist in the Mayo Clinic Center for Individualized Medicine. His research lab creates novel algorithms to transform medicine via predictive analytics for real-time clinical decision-making and casual inference for preventive medicine.
