J. Wells Askew, M.D., named chair, Division of Ischemic Heart Disease and cardiac ICU, Mayo Clinic in Rochester

J. Wells Askew, M.D. (I ’02, CV ’05, CVNC ’06), was named chair of the Division of Ischemic Heart Disease and cardiac ICU at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He had been the interim chair of the division since February 2018. He has been a consultant at Mayo Clinic since 2009 and has a joint appointment in the Division of Cardiovascular Ultrasound in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine. Dr. Askew has been director of the Integrated Stress Center since 2016.

He is an associate professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
