James Hebl, M.D.

James Hebl, M.D. (I1 ’96, ANES ’99), will transition to a new role as medical director of Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) Leadership Development. Dr. Hebl spent more than eight years of dedicated service as regional vice president of MCHS in Southwest Minnesota. During his tenure, he guided the Southwest Minnesota team through the COVID-19 pandemic and led the clinical, operational and financial transformation of the practice as well as the design and build of the modernized and expanded Mankato hospital. In his new role, Dr. Hebl will oversee the design, implementation and evaluation of leadership development programs within MCHS and join the Mayo Clinic executive coaching team.
