James Stubbs, M.D., recognized by American Board of Pathology trustees

James Stubbs, M.D. (GIM ’04), chair, Division of Transfusion Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was recognized at the 2020 annual meeting of the trustees of the American Board of Pathology. The board adopted a resolution to commend Dr. Stubbs for serving the organization with distinction.

The trustees expressed their gratitude to Dr. Stubbs for his many years of dedicated and faithful service to The American Board of Pathology, as well as to the specialty of pathology and the science of medicine. It also noted, “Doctor Stubbs is held in high esteem by his fellow trustees as a physician, counselor, administrator, and friend.” Dr. Stubbs completed his term with the American Board of Pathology on Dec. 31, 2020, where he has served as trustee, treasurer, vice president and president.

Dr. Stubbs is an associate professor of laboratory medicine and pathology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
