Jane Njeru, M.B., Ch.B. (I ’12, PCIR ’13), project was selected for advancement, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Jane Njeru, M.B., Ch.B. (I ’12, PCIR ’13), Division of Community Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, has a project selected for advancement in the Mayo Clinic Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery. Her project is “A Pragmatic Trial to Assess an Artificial Intelligence System for Connecting Patients With Adverse Social Determinants of Health to Community Resources.” The Kern Center for the Science of Health Care Delivery will provide project support and dedicated time from center staff, including scientists, analysts, project managers and clinical research coordinators. Most projects will be complete in 12 months. Dr. Njeru is an assistant professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
