Januario Castro, M.D. (HEMO ’18), received a Collaborative Research Seed Grant Program

Januario Castro, M.D. (HEMO ’18), Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology Mayo Clinic in Arizona, received a 2023 Collaborative Research Seed Grant Program in the Mayo Clinic and Arizona State University Alliance for Health Care for the project “Detection and Quantification of Key Biomarkers in CAR-T Cell Therapy With Quantum-NanoElectroPore.” With the goal of advancing research, improving patient care and reshaping medical education, the alliance’s seed grant program provides fertile ground for research on a small scale, with the potential to attract funding for larger studies that can significantly improve patient care. Dr. Castro is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
