Javier Magrina alumni group convenes third annual meeting in Madrid, Spain

The Javier Magrina alumni group convened its third annual meeting in Madrid, Spain, in June 2021. The group is a scientific cohort founded by 78 gynecologists from Spain who participated in an observership with Javier Magrina, M.D. (OBG ’78), Mayo Clinic Emeriti Staff, at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, beginning in 1988. The group was formed to honor Dr. Magrina and thank him for teaching. The group first met for an annual meeting in 2018 (Barcelona), with 2019 and 2021 meetings in Madrid. The 2022 meeting is scheduled for Seville, Spain.
