Joerg Herrmann, M.D., is medical director for Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Information Technology Group

Joerg Herrmann, M.D. (CV ’03, I ’06, CI ’08, CV ’10, CVIC ’11), Division of Ischemic Heart Disease & Critical Care, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, is medical director for the Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Information Technology Group, which maintains IT infrastructure and develops new tools. Dr. Herrmann succeeds Malcolm Bell, M.D. (PHYS ’90, CV ’92), in this position.

Dr. Herrmann is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
