Joerg Herrmann, M.D., receives $4.4 million NIH R01 grant from National Cancer Institute
Joerg Herrmann, M.D. (CV ’03, I ’06, CI ’08, CV ’10, CVIC ’11), Division of Ischemic Heart Disease & Critical Care, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a $4.4 million NIH R01 grant from the National Cancer Institute entitled “TrAstuzumab Cardiomyopathy Therapeutic Intervention with Carvedilol (TACTIC) Trial.” The grant is in collaboration with Kathryn Ruddy, M.D. (ONCL ’13), Division of Medical Oncology, Department of Oncology, Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
Dr. Herrmann is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
