John Burnett, Jr., M.D. received 2016 Research Award

John Burnett Jr., M.D. (I ’78, CV ’81, CV ’82), Mayo Clinic Division of Cardiovascular Diseases, received a 2016 Research Award from Regenerative Medicine Minnesota, a state-supported initiative to advance regenerative medicine. His study focuses on the use of Mayo Clinic-engineered peptides in cardiac repair and regeneration. Dr. Burnett is the Marriott Family Cardiovascular Research Professor, a professor of Medicine and professor of physiology.
