Joseph Dearani, M.D., receives Distinguished Service Award, Society of Thoracic Surgeons
Joseph Dearani, M.D. (TS ’96), Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a Distinguished Service Award from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. The group acknowledge his contributions to advancing cardiothoracic issues and his leadership as its president from 2020 to 2021. Dr. Dearani is a professor of surgery in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
