Julia Files, M.D., is vice chair, Mayo Clinic Academic Appointments and Promotions Committee

Julia Files, M.D. (OBG ’96), Women’s Health Center at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, was appointed vice chair of the Mayo Clinic Academic Appointments and Promotions Committee (AAPC). Dr. Files will serve a dual role as vice chair of the full AAPC and as chair of the Instructor/Assistant Professor Subcommittee of the AAPC. In the role of vice chair, Dr. Files succeeds Philip Fischer, M.D. (PD ’99), Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, who is serving as a pediatrician at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Files is a professor of medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
