Kah Whye Peng, Ph.D. (MMED ’98), at-large director, Mayo Clinic Rochester

Kah Whye Peng, Ph.D. (MMED ’98), Department of Molecular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, was named at-large director for the American Society of Gene and Cell Therapy, the largest gene, virus and cell therapy society in the U.S. Dr. Peng is director of Mayo Clinic’s Toxicology and Pharmacology Service Lab. She has a long-standing research interest in the clinical development of oncolytic viruses as anticancer therapeutics, viral vector targeting, and noninvasive imaging technologies to track cell and virus gene therapies. Dr. Peng is a professor of oncology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
