Kathryn Ruddy, M.D., receives $4.4 million NIH R01 grant from National Cancer Institute

Kathryn Ruddy, M.D. (ONCL ’13), Division of Medical Oncology, Department of Oncology, Mayo Clinic in Rochester, received a $4.4 million NIH R01 grant from the National Cancer Institute entitled “TrAstuzumab Cardiomyopathy Therapeutic Intervention with Carvedilol (TACTIC) Trial.” The grant is in collaboration with Joerg Herrmann, M.D. (CV ’03, I ’06, CI ’08, CV ’10, CVIC ’11), Division of Ischemic Heart Disease & Critical Care, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

Dr. Ruddy is an associate professor of oncology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
