Kejal Kantarci, M.D., named director of Mayo Clinic Women’s Health Research Center
Kejal Kantarci, M.D. (RD ’04, CTSA ’09, CTSC ’09), Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, has been named director of the Women’s Health Research Center. Dr. Kantarci is a professor of radiology in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Dr. Kantarci has broad leadership experience leading nationwide, multisite research in women’s cognitive health. She leads a project on sex-based differences that has been continuously funded through a National Institutes of Health (NIH) P50 award.
Dr. Kantarci succeeds Virginia M. Miller, Ph.D. (PHYS ’86), who has served as director of the Women’s Health Research Center since 2001.
